Fire Prevention Services, Inc manages weed abatement for San Miguel's entire service area (50 square miles). When you submit the form below, they will follow up and if necessary, begin the weed abatement notification process.
Please be advised this is a legal process with certain timelines defined by the law. Although dry brush, dead trees, etc. pose a potential fire hazard, property owners must still be granted time to get their property into compliance.
Additionally, there are some areas within our District that are designated as protected land and must be left in their natural state.
Due to the volume of complaints received, FPS, Inc. will only reach out to you if they need additional information or clarification on your complaint.
The information in this form is confidential and will not be disclosed to property owners that may be in violation of our weed abatement standards.
