San Miguel Fire & Rescue does not offer car seat installation or inspection.
If you have questions or need help installing your car safety seat, find a certified CPS Technician. Lists of certified CPS Technicians and Child Seat Fitting Stations are available on the NHTSA Web Site at nhtsa.gov. You can also get this information by calling (866) 732-8243 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at (888) 327-4236.
The California Highway Patrol also performs car seat inspections. The El Cajon office can be reached at (619) 219-6900.
