Fire Inspector Lyons started her career in public service in 2012. She was a Fire & EMS Dispatcher with North County Dispatch JPA and transferred to Heartland Communications/Central Dispatch in 2018. She is currently working towards her associates degree in Fire Technology/Fire Prevention at Miramar College. Prior to working as a dispatcher, she was an EMT with Care ambulance, a system status controller, and a part-time EMT with Rural Metro San Diego. Jennifer is a second-generation Chula Vista native and graduated from Eastlake High School. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, spending time with her family, and writing letters.
