Welcome to the hub for all things relating to San Miguel Fire's Explorer Program.
San Miguel Fire & Rescue's Explorer Program is designated for individuals between the ages of 14 and 20 (8th grade completed), who wish to pursue a career in the fire service. Interest forms are collected on an ongoing basis. Please submit your information via the Explorer Interest Form linked to the right.
Individuals hoping to be accepted into the Explorer program are encouraged to learn about San Miguel and the communities we serve. The trifold linked below contains basic information about the District and the Explorer Program. If you plan to apply for the Program, please study this material as your knowledge of it will be tested as part of the recruitment process.
